The Lancaster County Historical Society welcomes donations to
the collections. All donations must have clear title and fall within
the guidelines of our collections policy.
Donations added to our collection usually have a connection with
Lancaster County and support one of the three collecting departments—library,
archives and objects. Contact Ginger Shelley (Ginger.Shelley@lancasterhistory.org)
for questions about library donations; Heather Tennies (Heather.Tennies@lancasterhistory.org)
for questions about archive donations or Barry Rauhauser (Barry.Rauhauser@lancasterhistory.org)
for questions about object donations.
The staff does not give appraisals. The donor must secure independent
appraisals for donations if he/she desires to have a donation
appraised for income tax purposes.
