Exceptions to Hours
Learn when LancasterHistory, including President James Buchanan’s Wheatland, will be closed due to special events, holidays, or inclement weather.
The following operations of LancasterHistory (including President James Buchanan’s Wheatland) will have a change in hours on following upcoming dates:
- DELAYED OPENING – Monday, May 13: All Operations will have a delayed opening. We will be closed from 9am – 1pm. We reopen to the public at 1pm. The first Wheatland tour of the day will be at 1pm.
- CLOSED May 27 for Memorial Day: All Operations Closed
- CLOSED July 4 for Independence Day: All Operations Closed
- CLOSED September 2 for Labor Day: All Operations Closed
- CLOSED November 28 for Thanksgiving: All Operations Closed
- CLOSED December 24 for Christmas Eve: All Operations Closed
- CLOSED December 25 for Christmas Day: All Operations Closed
- Closed December 30 for New Year’s Eve: All Operations Closed
