Volunteer Opportunities

Museum Store Associate: Conduct retails sales, greet and welcome all customers, provide gift wrapping (if applicable), provide personalized salesmanship for all customers, label merchandise using pricing/inventory system, maintain clean work space and stocked shelves, and assist with inventory activities (if applicable). Training provided. Previous retail and point-of-sale system experience preferred. Proficient with computers. Must be 16+ years of age. Volunteer shifts are as coordinated with Patrick Clarke.

History Tour Guide: Conduct guided tours of Wheatland for visitors of all ages. Volunteers may also be asked to participate in Living History programs when they are presented during the main tour season. Training provided. Must possess good verbal and communication skills; ability to be on ones feet for an hour and to climb stairs. Must be 17+ years of age. Volunteer shifts are available Monday - Saturday from 10am to 1pm AND/OR 1pm to 3pm.
