Collections Database

We have two databases that patrons may use to search the varied historic collections at LancasterHistory. Please select the button below that best describes what you are looking for. The button will link you away from the LancasterHistory website to the website where the public can access the collections.

NOTE TO RESEARCHERS: We are currently in the process of moving in to new databases and improving your research experience. Pardon our dust and please check back throughout September as we continue to improve our services. Thank you!

Search the Library Catalog

The Library Catalog at LancasterHistory allows the public to search published books, indexes, maps and atlases, vertical files, and copies of original documents on microfilm held at LancasterHistory. Please note that the Library is not a circulating library, meaning items cannot be checked out. They can be viewed onsite.

Search the Collections Database

This database allows the public to search all 3-Dimensional artifacts, archival materials, and photographs that can be found at LancasterHistory. Many items have been digitized, but digitization is an ongoing process and records will be continuously updated. Thank you for your patience!
