The Lancaster Campus of History is located just west of the City of Lancaster at the intersection of Marietta and North President Avenues. There is off-street parking available.

Our ten-acre campus features:

    • The headquarters of, including the Museum Store, Research Library and Archives, and the Exhibition Galleries
    • President James Buchanan’s Wheatland and its historic grounds and gardens
    • The Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum and Dwarf Conifer Garden On The Square

Lancaster, PA 17603 On The Square features our downtown Lancaster City Museum Store alongside a small gallery space.

Parking downtown is available via a variety of nearby parking garages, the closest of which to this location is the Central Parking Garage at 29-31 West Vine Street. This metered garage can be accessed from Prince Street or Vine Street. There is also metered parking along some of the streets, but please note that many are now operated by either coin meters or kiosks. For more information, please visit The Lancaster Parking Authority.
