Join fellow history-lovers for an outdoor evening of food, friendship, and a look at what’s ahead!

The Summertime Picnic will take place Thursday, June 8 Tuesday, June 27 from 5:30-8:30pm at Historic Sickman’s Mill, located at 671 Sandhill Road in Pequea, PA. Cocktails begin at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6:30pm featuring grain processed by the historic mill. The Summertime Picnic benefits the education and public history programs of LancasterHistory.

Throughout the evening, tours of Historic Sickman’s Mill will be available and led by Adam Zurn of Uncharted Lancaster. Live music will also be provided by Dillweed. In addition, a silent and live auction plus raffle will take place to raise additional funds for LancasterHistory, featuring fun, history-themed baskets and one-of-a-kind experiences!

Reservations

Tickets are available at the levels below. Each level is preceded by the name of said level (ex. “Float On”), followed by the price per person. Each ticket includes admission to the event, food and drink, a guided tour of Historic Sickman’s Mill, live entertainment, and, if chosen, complimentary shuttle to and from the event. The higher the level, the more support you give to LancasterHistory. Seating is not assigned except for those who reserve a table sponsorship or are an event sponsor.

• Float On: $100/person
• Picnic in the Park: $250/person
• Summertime Breeze: $500/person
• Endless Summer: $750/person

You can also reserve a table for eight (8) by purchasing a table sponsorship for $1,500. Limited table sponsorship available and are first come, first serve by reservation.

A portion of each ticket level is tax deductible. For higher levels ($250 and up), an added benefit is your name(s) listed in the event program.

Additional Information

Not sure what to wear? Consider casual, picnic-style clothing to be comfortable outdoors. While Historic Sickman’s Mill is known for its tubing, we will not be tubing on the river during this event.

LancasterHistory is also offering a complimentary shuttle to and from the event. The shuttle will leave from LancasterHistory (230 N. President Avenue) at 5pm and will return at 8:30pm. Please RSVP for the shuttle at the time of purchasing tickets. Self-parking is also available at Historic Sickman’s Mill.
