Join The Friends of the Tanger Arboretum for their Annual Dinner at 5:30pm at The Pressroom Restaurant in downtown Lancaster City. Cocktails will start at 5:30pm (cash bar), followed by a welcome and invocation at 6:30pm. Dinner will also be served at 6:30pm. At 7:30pm, the Stepping Stone Award will be given, followed by the main program at 7:45pm.

The speaker for the event will be Dr. Dean C. Rust, President of the Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania, who will present on The Ecology & Management of the Eastern Bluebird. Dr. Rust monitors seventeen Bluebird trails in Lancaster, York, Dauphin, and Chester counties, accounting for approximately 350 nest boxes–fledgling 600 to 700 bluebirds each summer.

Tickets are $50 per person. Guests can choose from three possible meal selections:

• Baked cod with lemon & parsley butter sauce
• Shenk’s grill chicken breast with sun-dried tomato cream
• Vegan spaghetti – zucchini and squash with marinara, mushrooms, and falafel “meatballs”
