The Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum on the grounds of LancasterHistory.org is host to the Beech Grove, a collection of eight spectacular mature beech trees. Join local photographer and writer Kristin V. Rehder on Thursday, November 15 at 3pm for a talk and tour of her photography exhibit, The Beech Grove, and—weather permitting—the Beech Grove. She will also share insights on her work photographing the Tanger Arboretum’s Beech Grove. Kristin Rehder’s photography of The Beech Grove captures the evocative beauty and mystery of one of Lancaster’s hidden gems.

Kristin V. Rehder is a photographer and writer, working within the documentary tradition. She photographs in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the Adirondack Mountains of New York, and Lopez Island, Washington, where she pursues concepts of community and the memory and meaning of place. The intersection of imagery and text is significant in her work.
