Dutchirican: A Latinx History of Central Pennsylvania is an exhibit developed by Dr. Ivette Guzmán-Zavala and Dr. John Hinshaw of Lebanon Valley College. The exhibit tells the story of the Latinx community in central Pennsylvania through photographs and artifacts, including a reproduction casita, or “little house,” lived in by migrant workers in the 1950s. The exhibit traces the history of a diverse community from the American Revolution to the present and explores the rich contributions Latinx peoples have made to Lancaster County and the surrounding region.
