August is a great time of the year to look for and listen to insects. Join Naturalist Lisa Sanchez as we explore for insects crawling, hopping, and flying around the Arboretum. Attendees will learn how to attract butterflies and caterpillars to their yards.

Lisa Sanchez is a Park Naturalist with the Lancaster County Department of Parks & Recreation. The event will take place at LancasterHistory.org, 230 North President Avenue, and is rain or shine. Tickets are available by clicking the ticket button. Adults (18+) are $5, Children are $3, and Members of the Friends of the Tanger Arboretum are free (registration still required).


This event is hosted by the Friends of the Tanger Arboretum. The Friends of the Tanger Arboretum, a subsidiary organization of LancasterHistory.org, helps foster public interest in, and support for, the maintenance and development of the Tanger Arboretum as a community asset.
