Exceptions to Hours
Learn when LancasterHistory, including President James Buchanan’s Wheatland, will be closed due to special events, holidays, or inclement weather.
The following operations of LancasterHistory (including President James Buchanan’s Wheatland) will have a change in hours on following upcoming dates:
- PARTIAL CLOSING November 29: The Research Center will be closed Friday, November 29. All other operations open regular hours.
- CLOSED December 24 for Christmas Eve: All Operations Closed
- CLOSED December 25 for Christmas Day: All Operations Closed
- PARTIAL CLOSING December 28: The Research Center will be closed Saturday, December 28. All other operations open regular hours.
- CLOSED December 31, 2024 – January 20, 2025: All Operations Closed. Reopen for the 2025 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
