This is the stirring tale of a youthful adventurer who accompanied the Continental forces in an attempt to gain a fourteenth colony back in 1775.
Sam Walker leads us through the journey of John Joseph Henry from his home in Lancaster to Maine and then to captivity in Canada. The youth was just seventeen when he defied his family’s wishes by dashing off to join Benedict Arnold’s ill-fated expedition.
