Find inspiration in the courageous struggle for freedom and equality in America through exhibits, immersive media experiences, and educational programs.

The Center celebrated its Grand Opening May 1-2, 2026. It opens to the public officially on Tuesday, May 5.

Thaddeus Stevens Home & Law Offices (part of the Center) are on the National Park Service’s Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.
