’60s Storytime [January 2020]

’60s Storytime [January 2020]

Join LancasterHistory on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11am for ’60s Storytime! Listen to a history story read aloud; then create a craft inspired by the story. We invite children 3-9 years old and their families to develop literacy and creative skills while learning about Lancaster’s history. This season’s Storytime programs will connect thematically with our Lancaster in the ’60s exhibit.

THEME: For ’60s Storytime on Saturday, January 25, children will read about presidential pets and learn about James Buchanan’s dog, Lara, who went with him from Wheatland to the White House. The craft of the day will be paper bag dogs!

This program is free, but reservations are encouraged to ensure we have enough craft supplies for all who wish to participate. Reserve for free by clicking “Get Tickets” below or by calling 717.392.4633.
