Ticket Donation Program

About The Program

LancasterHistory is happy to support other non-profit community organizations through donation requests for tickets to benefit organizations and the constituents they serve. Requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis according to established guidelines.

Guidelines

  1. Applying organizations must be a non-profit organization headquartered in one of the following regional counties in Pennsylvania: Lancaster, Berks, Dauphin, Lebanon, York, or Chester. LancasterHistory does not accept requests from any political organizations.
  2. Interested organizations should apply no less than four (4) weeks in advance of the date of their event for which they’d like to secure a donation.
  3. Organizations may only apply once per calendar year, but are allowed to reapply each year.
  4. Donation received must be used to positively benefit the organization’s charitable work.
  5. Preference is given to organizations that provide an important service to their community.
  6. All requests must submit a donation request letter that is composed on the organization’s letterhead and written/signed by an authorized representative of said organization. Letter should also provide information about the organization, the event being held, and how LancasterHistory’s donation will benefit the event/organization/organization’s constituents.

Requests are received on a rolling basis. Please allow LancasterHistory staff 1-2 weeks to review a request. Decisions on requests will be sent via email to the submitter.

LancasterHistory may decline requests if the organization seeking a donation falls outside the scope, range, or region of our community-based services, or if it does not comply with non-discrimination practices. LancasterHistory will not respond to requests made by organizations that promote discriminatory or hateful activities. LancasterHistory reserves the right to decline requests at any time at its own discretion.
