The Friends of the Tanger Arboretum are looking for volunteers to help at their upcoming Arboretum Volunteer Work Day on June 24 from 8am – 12pm. Work includes weeding and gathering fallen branches throughout the Arboretum. This is a great opportunity to make a visible difference in the Arboretum and work outdoors among fellow garden enthusiasts.

Those interested in helping should dress appropriately for working outdoors and, if possible, bring their own set of gardening or work gloves, a hand trowel, or three-pronged hand rake. Water and snacks will be provided. Interested volunteers should meet at the Carriage House on June 24 at 8am. A hat and sunscreen are also highly recommended!
