Dr. Alan Peterson has been the Emeritus Director of Environmental and Community Medicine for over 40 years at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He has over 50 years of experience as a family physician who has taught family medicine residents and cared for patients. Dr. Peterson received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. For over nine years, he’s given talks centered on climate and health and feels very passionate about educating others about the topic.
