Enjoy a “Go At Your Own Pace” tour of President James Buchanan’s Wheatland on Saturday, June 27. Explore the beautiful and inviting rooms of the 13,000 square foot Wheatland mansion and discover the history of this gentleman’s farm that James Buchanan called home. Guides are stationed in each room of the mansion to answer your questions as you visit President James Buchanan’s home at your own pace.

Tour entries every 15 minutes from 1:15-3:15pm. Ticket price also includes admission to the museum exhibitions at LancasterHistory.

To purchase tickets for a timed entry between 1:15-3:15pm, please click the “Get Tickets” button. Advance reservations are recommended. Please check in at our main building at 230 N. President Avenue at least 15 minutes before your respective tour entry time.

(Regular, guided tours of mansion are still available on Saturday but only at 10am, 11am, and 12pm. To book one of these options, please visit https://www.lancasterhistory.org/tickets/ and select “General Admission Tickets.”)
