Storytime
Storytime
Experience history through stories and hands-on activities! Join LancasterHistory.org as we introduce children to historic themes and read a book aloud. Then, stay for an activity or craft inspired by the day’s theme. This hands-on learning opportunity broadens historical knowledge while establishing basic museum literacy and critical thinking skills.
Storytime on January 26 will feature “Gingerbread for Liberty! How a German Baker Helped Win the American Revolution” by Mara Rockliff, and children will make cut paper gingerbread men.
This program is designed for children between the ages of 4 and 9, but all children are welcome. Storytime is free for kids and accompanying adults, but reservations are required. To register, please click the “Buy Tickets” button or call (717) 392-4633. Registration helps LancasterHistory.org staff provide adequate space and supplies for all children interested in attending and participating in the craft. Please bring your tickets printed on paper or on a phone or internet-enabled device to allow for easy check-in. Thank you!
