Join Lancaster Transplant and LancasterHistory for a special Pints with the President from 5:30-8pm on Saturday, October 12. Alongside plentiful, Victorian-inspired champagne punch, pints and small bites will be available to enjoy on the lawn of President Buchanan’s Wheatland. The home will be open for self-paced tours from 5:30-7pm, with opportunities to learn about Pennsylvania’s only president (and his vast alcohol collection). A special curator’s tour of Wheatland, focusing on little-known stories about the house and Buchanan, will be offered at 7pm for those who want to take a deeper dive into history.

Tickets are $20 for Lancaster Transplant members and $25 for non-members. Curator’s Tour is an additional $5. Tickets may be purchased in advance online through Lancaster Transplant or at the door. (Ticket sales are not available through LancasterHistory.) Limit 2 pints or 1 punch per guest. Must be 21 years or older with valid ID.
