Tree Dedication for Fritz Schroeder
Tree Dedication for Fritz Schroeder
Join LancasterHistory on Saturday, April 23 at 11am as we plant a tree in memory of Fritz Schroeder and honor his many contributions of landscape artistry.
From the 1950s through 2020, Fritz worked his magic on the grounds of the Lancaster County Historical Society, now known as LancasterHistory. For over seven decades Fritz’s work helped shape the beauty found today in the Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum on the grounds of LancasterHistory’s campus. A tree will be planted in the West Meadow, Fritz’s final project for LancasterHistory which was completed shortly before his passing.
Parking is available in LancasterHistory’s on-site lot. To get to the meadow, walk down the Wheatland driveway toward Marietta Avenue and the meadow will be on your left. To view the layout of the grounds, please see this map.
