President James Buchanan was responsible for raising two wards – a niece, Harriet Lane, and a nephew, James Buchanan Henry, known as “Young Buck.” Young Buck had a series of love affairs throughout his fascinating life, but none were more special than the relationship with his first love, Mary Nicholson Henry. Their time together, and happy marriage, was cut short by her untimely death in 1863. Visit Young Buck as an older man in this first-person presentation as he reminisces about his true love with Mary, and discusses his life experiences as the nephew to the president.
