Description:   Lancaster City and County Politics gives an unusual perspective of the area’s politics.  Newspaper articles representing both the Republican Party and Democratic Party develop the unique look.  It also contains information about women’s involvement in politics.  Local, state and federal government branches are all discussed in the book.  There are also articles about the major political issues in 1922, such as prohibition, daylight savings time, and education funding.  Individuals mentioned in the scrapbooks include John A. McSparran, William Johnson, Scott W. Baker, Gifford Pinchot, W. W. Greist, W. D. Marburger, Samuel E. Shull, Frank Musser, and Milton T. Garvin.
