Description:   Collection contains documents of the Long family of Drumore Twp. Most papers pertain to property of the Long and Worrell families, and the estate of Robert H. Long. The documents include broadside, deeds, land drafts, receipts, insurance policies, and correspondence.

Insert 1 The Treasury Office of Pennsylvania received payment from Hugh Long for land purchase in Drumore Twp. Signed by William Findlay, treasurer. 22 August 1809.

Treasury Office of Pennsylvania received payment from Patrick Harrah and Hugh Martin for patent fees for land in Drumore Twp. Signed by William Clark, treasurer. 5 April 1825.

Insert 2 Promissory note from the Bank of the United States to [G. W. Fairmar] for $1,000. No. 8894. 15 December 1840. (This is a reproduction. The paper is very acidic.)

An Orphans’ Court order for confirmation of the value of the real estate of Thomas Porter. The court’s decision reads that his land cannot be divided between his widow and children. 26 March 1784.

Article of agreement between John James and Robert H. Long, both of Drumore Twp., and Jacob Yost of Bucks County. Describes details for payment of the execution of the estate of Hugh Long. 24 December 1833.
