The majority of the teachers in this association attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania and there are many articles pertaining to meetings and reunions at the university. Elizabethtown College, another local school, is mentioned in Book 2. There are programs and articles describing Pennsylvania’s Annual Convention of the Retired Teachers’ Association. The members took trips Virginia, Maryland and New York. Both scrapbooks describe these trips and contain pamphlets, postcards, correspondence and photographs.
