Celebrate Mother’s Day by taking tea with Buchanan’s niece and First Lady, Miss Harriet Lane. Parents and grandparents are invited to bring children (ages 5 to 12 recommended) to enjoy a Victorian tea with Miss Harriet Lane. Miss Lane will instruct on the proper way to take tea and will reminisce about her own life as a young lady in Lancaster. Tea, chocolate, and lemonade will be served with delectable finger foods for a fanciful Victorian tea party. This event makes a wonderful Mother’s Day outing and a great gift! Fancy dress; Victorian costume is welcome but not required.
